Ashik

Ashik is a quiet Muslim boy who smiles a lot, but his life has been hard. When he was just a baby, Ashik’s father died of a heart attack. His mother works hard to care for him by working in a garment factory, often working overtime to make ends meet. She makes about $64 a month, and she pays over $40 a month for rent. This leaves hardly anything for food, medical care, and clothing. They live in a tiny shack in the slums of Dhaka. Ashik barely has a first grade education and his is 10 years old.

Now, he attends school at the center every day, he is provided with help for medical needs and a food gift is given to the home each month. For the first time in their lives, they are seeing the love and grace of God in an incredible way!

There is  hope for Ashik.
