Meet Vicki! She is one of our house moms at Calo. Vicki grew up in a home with 9 other siblings. Being the second born, it was a very challenging childhood as she had to take care of her younger siblings. She went to school and graduated with her diploma in theology. After finishing school, Vicki was married. She lost her husband in a car accident in 2008 and was forced to return to her parents village and work in their restaurant.
Being a house mom for Project Hope has helped Vicki so much. She is able to support herself and also help support her siblings through school. She enjoys the encouragement of the children, she loves serving in the church, and she loves to worship God through music.
