We value genuine love; a love that does not depend upon the one being loved for its continuance. We view every person as a valuable individual whom God created and loves. We believe that investing Christ’s love in the lives of others will liberate them and is worth the pain and sacrifice that will be required to do it. Matthew 22:39 “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” I Cor 13:8 “Lover never fails.”

We value Biblical, God-honoring, enduring stewardship. We value bearing fruit and multiplying throughout our lifetime all that the Lord has entrusted to us, i.e. our time, our treasures, and our talents (spiritual gifts). We will treat them as earthly trusts, which if invested wisely will yield eternal treasures. We value serving the Lord with all our heart and doing whatever He calls us to do with all of our might.

We value Christ-like character over personality and wisdom over intellect. We value God’s ways which are often the opposite of our natural inclinations and exactly what Jesus would do if He were in my situation. We believe that the path to life leads through the process of death to self.

We value the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit over leadership principles. We value God’s favor over man’s methods. We will trust the favor of God to do what we cannot do for ourselves. We believe that human ingenuity cannot be compared to God’s power. We value the Holy Spirit as the source for all ministry rather than our ministry experience and abilities.
