Levi and Laurel Molini have been one of our orphan sponsors from Day 1.

When they heard about our first orphans coming into the home, they signed up that day and have been sponsoring Dicken Ogwang ever since!

Why did you decide to sponsor– We first learned of Project Hope and it’s mission during a video presentation at our church. One of the children being spotlighted as one of the first orphans was Dickens. His story was amazing, full of hope and miracles. Immediately Levi said that was the child he wanted to sponser. We have been connected to Project Hope Worldwide from that point on as we both feel God has called us to help do “our part” in helping out the widows and the orphans.

What has been the highlight of our sponsorship– We always LOVE to get the communication that comes from the orphanage and primarily Dickens who is the child we sponsor. It warms our hearts to see his dramatic progress in school, and in his daily life. It seems that every time we receive a new picture of him his smile keeps getting bigger and bigger. When he updates us on his activities thru his letters we can see that he is developing a great faith in those who are educating him and most importantly in God and Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior! We also have great joy in being able to send him care packages that consist of small toys, coloring books, etc. etc. and we trust that small things like this make such an impact in his life!

How has it impacted our family– Laurel and I feel that the greatest impact we receive through our sponsorship is the ability to involve our 6 year old daughter. She is engaged with every letter we receive and every letter we send out. We use it as an opportunity to teach her about the world, and how God uses us as an instrument for the better good of humanity and advancing his kingdom. We use the stories of the orphans to remind ourselves that we often take things for granted in the culture we live in. Seeing these orphans so happy with so little is a great reflection of the fact that true joy and peace doesn’t come in our possessions or our circumstances but from the Love and connectivity that our relationship with Christ brings us!
